Wihlborgs is building a 9,600 square metre cross-dock and warehouse facility for the logistics company Dachser, which is thereby tripling its capacity compared with the existing facility in Malmoe, which it is vacating. Dachser is leasing the facility on a 15-year contract, with occupancy at the turn of the year 2024/2025. Croisette has advised Wihlborgs on the lease to Dachser.

The facility is being built on the Bilrutan 5 property on Kamgatan in eastern Landskrona, close to the E4 and E6 motorways. Wihlborgs has owned the site for many years but has been actively looking for a tenant to establish logistics on the site since spring 2022, when the zoning plan was approved. The company has now found this tenant: German Dachser.
The property will consist of a cross dock terminal, warehouse and offices and will be certified according to “Green building Gold”. A solar cell system will be installed on the roof and the investment amounts to SEK 159 million including land value. The 9,600 square metre building occupies about two-thirds of the property’s building rights, totalling 15,000 square metres, so there is scope for future expansion.
Dachser is a German logistics company founded in 1930 with 33,000 employees worldwide. One of the Swedish group’s four road transport operations is currently located in Malmoe, but will move to the new facility in Landskrona from the end of the year.
